Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop Screen Replacement
First, remove the battery. This battery can also be found in the back of the laptop, but on the upper back. You will see the long, horizontal contour of the battery here, and just below the sliding mechanism that releases the battery. Use the mechanism to release the battery as a safety measure.
Locate the screws on the outer bezel of Dell Inspiron 6000. Remove all screws. To do this, use a Phillips screwdriver. Depending on your particular model of HP Pavilion notebook widescreen LP156WH1 TL C1, it may be necessary to remove the small plastic covers hide the screws before removing. Use a wire to pop the plastic covers off.Remove trim carefully. To do this, start at one corner of the cover and carefully peel back and then slowly protrude from the lunette at different points around the perimeter of the screen.
Place the bezel carefully aside for later use.Remove the screws on the metal brackets. There are two metal brackets, one on each side of the screen Dell Inspiron 6000, and each is revealed once the bezel is removed. There should be two screws in each of these metal brackets. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove. Place these screws aside carefully in a plastic bag of some species for later use.
Remove the Dell Inspiron 6000 converter cable connector. The inverter cable can be seen once the bezel is removed. This cable and connector is at the bottom center of the screen, just above the keyboard protector on your computer. Disconnect the inverter cable point.Pull with the old screen and discard it. To do this, once you disconnect your cable, pull the screen back plastic equipment carefully, then remove.
Slide the new screen carefully at the place vacated by the old screen (see Resources below). Connect the drive cable back in. Replace the screws on the metal brackets. Pop the bezel in place and replace the screws on the frame. Put the Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop battery back into the system and restart. Enjoy your new screen ltn156at01.
